My Pack

Mike
I couldn't ask for a better person to spend my life with than Mike. He's my best friend, soulmate and fellow vegan.  He's also a great cook and a wonderful papa to our sweeties. Mike loves video games, sports, hiking, biking, nature, animals, spending time outdoors, road trips, taking walks and playing with the pups.






Crystal
Crystal was born on August 10, 1992 and has been with me since she was just a few months old. She rules the roost around here and is more of a loner, but has her times when she likes to snuggle. It's a rare moment when she's not purring, which is one of my absolute favorite sounds in the world.





Bruno (May 13, 1997 - June 26, 2005)
I was very lucky to spend eight wonderful years with Bruno before I lost him to bone cancer. He was such a mama's boy and was the gentlest guy you could ever hope to find. Other than being snuggled, Bruno loved to go swimming. He would get so excited when he saw the lake! His favorite toy was a big green ball with holes all over it, which he would carry around all of the time. He was the first dog who I ever shared my life with and I couldn't have asked for a better boy than he was. I miss him more than words could ever express.


Sophie
We adopted Sophie on February 22, 2008 from a local rescue group. She is very much a snuggler and is quite playful. She also loves to lay in front of the fireplace with Emma on cold days, helping to keep each other warm. Sophie is a very mellow, agreeable kitty!


Emma
Emma was born on November 21, 2005 and is our “velcro dog”. Our best guess is that she’s a whippet (or other type of hound) and terrier mix. We adopted Emma on January 29, 2006 from a rescue group when she was just a few months old. She's very althetic & loves to play frisbee, take walks, go for rides and sleep in front of the fireplace with Sophie.


Rowan
Rowan was born on December 4, 2008 and is our little “wiggle butt“. We’re pretty sure that she has some Corgi in her and probably some type of terrier. She has thick fur with a very thick neck! We adopted Rowan on February 8, 2009 from a no-kill shelter when she was just a few months old. Rowan absolutely worships Emma and gets very agitated if she's not near her, so she's Emma's "velcro dog". Like Emma, she's very much a snuggler and loves to play frisbee, take walks and play tug.
