The sun is setting at 4:15 lately, which allows us to see the sunset while we take our walk with the girls after work. Last night was especially pretty.
Much to our dismay, our snow-free streak ended when we woke up this morning. Although, I must admit that it was very pretty while it lasted. It was the sticky kind of snow that clung to everything, making our world into that so-called "winter wonderland" for a few hours.
While Mike was taking pictures, the girls snuck out of the patio door and ran around in the snow naked. Emma didn't think it was as fun as sunbathing naked, which she has also been known to do.
I have a three day weekend starting tomorrow and since we already had our family gatherings we get to spend all three days with our girls. It'll be quite relaxing!
What beautiful pics :) Good for you having a three day weekend! I hope you enjoy it and get to relax a bit! Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what's more gorgeous - the sunset or the snow. Thanks for sharing these pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh a white Christmas..I can't remember the last time we had one here. The view from my workroom and kitchen...is rain! Yep..Happy Christmas England..rain, rain and more rain. Marvelous. lol.The Sock Stealer is not amused and is making use of his new bed...and looking rather grumpy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your relaxation Molly and seasons greetings to you, Mike and the girls from England ~R~
Thanks, everyone! :)

ReplyDeleteThe fence looks really good.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the pink bottle hanging from the hook?
oh wow! Our weather could not be more different right now haha. I'm sweating it out in 35 degrees sucking on ice to try and cool down! I miss proper Christmas with cold weather and hot food. Salads at Christmas may be yummy but they just seem wrong.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I hope you enjoy relaxing these hols :)
All the best xxx
Thanks Stacy! I will!
ReplyDeleteSV- that's a solar powered mason jar lamp. We have one hanging from each corner.
Claire- I'll switch with you! We would love to be in warm weather right now. :)
So pretty! I love the first snows. That sky is so dramatic too!
ReplyDeleteSienna is pretty much nudist now. I like how you describe Emma being naked. :-)
Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays to you, too, bitt!
